Over the past weekend was Waikato Boat Show including the wakeboarding industry, some crazy fishermen and some ridiculous gadgets. M-I-A were there doing demos and showing off the new products. With a massive Saturday and plenty of fresh gear walking out the door, this summer should be bigger and better than ever before, fresh faces and new perspectives on the wake scene, bring on summer.

There’s more here
As for the stands NZ’s own Skope was a stand out, amoungst the international players of MasterCraft, Nautique and Centurion, Skope displaying their second boat which was looking good and priced well. Perfect for those looking at an entry boat into the inboard market. Ronix, Remote and Company boards holding it down.

Special mention has to go out to all those who put on a display or organised the demo, the wakeboard community thanks you. Without them our presence would have been as strong as waterskiing (almost non existent). Also the boys for getting behind the cause and riding all day, plus Jody for pulling the boys till the end.
